Hydra Mining Tools International Limited is based in the South Yorkshire area of the UK. An area renowned for its mining, steel making and heavy engineering industries. Hydra Mining Tools and its predecessor, Hall & Pickles Tool Company, have been associated with mining activities since the earliest days of mechanization.

Hydra Mining Tools operate from two sites in the UK and two overseas. The head quarters of the company is at Rotherham, where carbide, mineral cutting tools, toolholders, cutting chains, conveyor rollers and related components are produced.

The Doncaster factory specializes in fabrication work, producing shearer drums, cutting heads and discs, jibs for cutting chains, and conveyor structure. In addition a wide range of general machining activities, plate rolling, profile cutting and press work facilities are contained within this site.

Our overseas units are Hydra Tools International (Inc.) in the USA. and Hydra Tools International (PTY) Ltd. in South Africa. Each site is equipped to service the needs of local industries. In many other countries, agents offer the full range of Hydra Mining Tools products.

Many years experience of mineral cutting in the mining industry have been used to develop equipment for construction and civil engineering use. TBM tooling, rollers & cutters, trenching and foundation discs, and chains,and road planning drums are just some of the products produced by Hydra Mining Tools for this industry.

Technical field staff and our overseas agents are always available to discuss your requirements and make site visits as necessary. For special applications Hydra Mining Tools can collaborate with the machine manufacturer and/or user with involvement from concept through to on-site commissioning of its equipment.
